Stephen Miley M.D. FACEP. Managing Director: Dr Miley, a Florida native, received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida. Dr Miley has over 25 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, having served as Director of Emergency Medicine at several large hospitals. Prior to opening Axcess MRI and Dx he founded a computer software company called MedHost, Inc. that created software for the healthcare industry. In 2001 Dr. Miley began the project of founding a world class diagnostic imaging company to be based in Venice, FL.  Dr. Miley lives in Sarasota and has a daughter.

John Uphold M.D. FACEP. Chairman: Dr Uphold brings over 28 years of medical experience to his post as Chairman of Axcess. A graduate of Baylor University, Dr Uphold is an active Emergency Medicine physician and the president of the Beverly Physician group in Beverly, California. He also owns the Physicians Choice Medical billing company of Woodland Hills, California which was originally started to handle the billing for his personal practice. Dr Uphold has had a professional and personal relationship with Dr Miley for over 25 years. His responsibilities at Axcess included medical counsel, executive decision making, capital expenditures and mentoring.

Director of Operations and Marketing (COO): Bonnie Rossi Bonnie received her Bachelor of Arts degree frm Centenary College for Women in Hackettstown, NJ.  She has over 18 years of medical office management experience in multiple specialties.  Prior to joining the Axcess team, she acted as Regional Director of Operations for Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS), where she managed the installation and training of an Electronic Medical Records system and, most notably, the integration of acquisitions over the last nine years during FCS' rapid growth from a single practice to becoming Florida's largest Medical Oncology practice.  She also directed all aspects of daily operations of eight Medical Oncology offices with twenty-two physicians, ten nurse practitioners and a clinical/admin staff of 155.

Danielle Roca, CPA, Vice President of Finance: Danielle received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in Accounting.  She is a Certified Public Accountant with 12 years of experience.   Prior to joining The Axcess Team in June 2006, Danielle was a Manager for Kerkering, Barberio & Co., PA, a Sarasota public accounting firm.  Danielle is responsible for all aspects of finance and banking relationships for Axcess.  Danielle relocated with her husband and two young children from Miami to the Bradenton area in 2002.

John Dague, (CIO) Director of Technology: John served six years in The United States Marine Corp.  Upon completion of his military service, he attended Saint Francis College and received his B.S degree.  Fifteen years ago, John began his career in the field of Information Technology with the emphasis in the medical Community.  He has extensive experience with migrations, implementation and development of new systems which effectively streamline the company’s ability to deliver quality patient care and at the same time cut overhead. John recently started with the Axcess Diagnostics team after a rewarding career with Florida Cancer Specialists as the Senior System Analyst.  While at FCS, he assisted in developing a custom electronic medial records system. John currently lives in Sarasota with his wife and three children.

Sherry Clooney, Corporate Office Manager:  Sherry joined Axcess in March of 2005 as Executive Assistant to our Management Team.  She came to Axcess with over 15 years of executive level experience in medical administration.  Most recently, she was part of the Executive Team of an ophthalmology practice in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Sherry relocated to Florida with her family in 2004.  She was promoted to Corporate Office Manager in December of 2006 where she works with the Corporate Management Team in the organization of special projects as well as new and outside business opportunities.
